Come join our National Geographic Learning Marketing team as the new Marketing Coordinator, where you will have the opportunity to elevate brand and content strategy. 

What you'll do here:
  • Understand value propositions of our brand to support the creation of sales tools, compelling brand awareness content, and collateral including social media posts, blogs, flyers, brochures, and success stories.
  • Manages project logistics from inception to execution, ensuring timeliness, accuracy, connections to objectives, and data measurement in collaboration with Events, Digital, Marketing, and Creative Services teams.
  • Coordinate product marketing campaigns that promote pipeline building.
  • Determine critical metrics, generate campaigns, and distribute results to enable data-driven decision making by Marketing team.
  • Consistently refresh product knowledge repositories based on product and portfolio updates.
  • Create and maintain FAQ to include responses to inquiries for sales prospecting, qualifying, and customer retention. Support customer-facing teams with product inquiries through timely responses.
  • Be a point person for internal communication systems as well as marketing systems, calendars, social media channels, digital initiatives and web.
  • Travel for team meetings, industry events and customer meetings as needed.

Skills you will need here:
  • A post-secondary degree/diploma is strongly preferred.
  • 2+ years of marketing knowledge developing long term campaign and content strategies
  • Strong organizational, time-management, project-management, and creative skills – with an ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Drive for results. “Can-do” attitude and persistence.
  • Interpersonal Savvy. Outstanding communication skills along with the capacity to work within corporate and entrepreneurial environments.
  • Proven team player in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills.
  • Professionalism balanced with a fun attitude and sense of humor.
  • Basic computer skills and MS office (Word, Excel, PPT specifically) required.

The full base pay range has been provided for this position. Individual base pay will vary based on work schedule, qualifications, experience, internal equity, and geographic location.  Sales roles often incorporate a significant incentive compensation program beyond this base pay range.$15.00 - $25.00 USD
