About the Role:

We are looking for a Marketing Coordinator who will work under supervision of the Marketing Manager and with guidance from more senior team members to assist the global Journal Marketing team in the delivery of general admin, event logistics, marketing campaigns, content creation, projects and reports.

The candidate should have strong communication and Microsoft suite skills and should be highly collaborative as they will need to work across a group of colleagues and locations. Prior experience in publishing or marketing is a plus, but not a requirement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • General Admin Support
    • Provides general admin support to the Journal Marketing team as required.
    • Collates information from multiple sources into a master tracking sheet. Basic excel skills necessary, strong excel skills are a plus.
    • Maintains and updates team SharePoint site.
  • Events
    • Coordinate conference visuals for subject marketers - creation, request creation from internal designers and organize print delivery.
    • Assist with event logistics where necessary.
  • Content Creation
    • Coordinates content requests from larger team including banner ads, business cards, collateral, videos.
    • Follows branding guidelines (Wiley and Society branding).
  • Marketing Campaign Reporting & Support
    • Follow processes and use reporting tools such as PowerBi to complete marketing updates for society/partners.
  • Collaboration & Communication
    • Works with other teams effectively.
    • Keeps stakeholders updated in a timely manner.
    • Handles external communications professionally.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent is desired.
  • Experience in office administration.
  • 1-2 years of marketing or publishing experience is a plus.
  • Prior experience working in a large multi-site team an advantage.
  • Excellent organization skills and attention to detail.
  • Able to keep work in order and tidy, accessible and understood by others.
  • Willing to learn and be proactive.
  • Carries out routine tasks with minimal guidance.
  • Able to juggle multiple priorities and to keep sight of deadlines, good multitasker, good planning skills.
  • Familiar with Microsoft suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint - IT literate.
  • A willingness to learn new systems.
  • Good time management, confidence, flexibility, team oriented and collaborative.
  • Methodical approach that produces work that is accurate, to time and to the required quality.
  • Develop and maintain collaborative working relationships with peers, colleagues, management, and others.
