Team & Position Description

We are seeking an entrepreneurial, "pet-passionate" Social Media Marketing Coordinator to join our agile Pet marketing team. This role is a key driver for brand growth, responsible for spearheading high-quality video content, managing cross-channel calendars, and executing disruptive social campaigns.

What You’ll Do:

  • End-to-End Content Creation: Lead the ideation, production, and post-production of high-frequency video content for TikTok and Instagram.
  • Strategic Campaign Execution: Plan and launch four major integrated social campaigns within your first six months, ensuring alignment with email marketing and retailer activity.
  • Community & Influencer Growth: Act as the primary bridge to our creator community, overseeing two quarterly influencer campaigns in collaboration with our agency partners.
  • Data-Driven Optimization: Perform monthly deep-dives into social insights to move beyond "vanity metrics" and optimize content for maximum reach and conversion.
  • Trend Monitoring: Bring three fresh, trend-aligned content ideas to the team weekly to keep the brands at the forefront of the pet industry.

What We’re Looking For (Key Performance Objectives):

  1. Audience Expansion: Ability to drive a 50% increase in reach and visibility across all platforms within the first year.
  2. High-Frequency Production: Proven track record of maintaining a consistent schedule of at least three high-quality, creative posts per week.
  3. Network Scaling: Experience providing guidance and assets to external partners to scale a high-performing influencer network.
  4. Strategic Integration: A "big picture" thinker who can ensure a cohesive brand voice across the entire digital ecosystem.

Requirements & Attributes

  • Experience: 1–2 years of experience in social media, influencer/creator programs, or digital marketing with an emphasis on video production.
  • Storytelling Mastery: A portfolio that demonstrates an ability to craft digital stories that capture attention and drive measurable engagement.
  • Technical Savvy: Proficiency in Word, Excel, social media management and end-to-end video editing tools. Experience with Sprout Social, CapCut and Canva a plus.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal skills with the ability to manage budgets, vendors, and cross-functional tasks effectively.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Similar Field
