Where we Work
Udemy is a global company headquartered in San Francisco, with additional U.S. offices in Denver and Austin, and international hubs in Australia, India, Ireland, Mexico, and Türkiye. This is an in-office position, requiring three days a week in the office (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) and flexibility on Mondays and Fridays.

About this role
We are seeking a highly analytical Marketing Operations Manager to join our Marketing Operations function. This role is primarily focused on marketing performance, data, and insights, supported by strong ownership of data hygiene and data governance across the marketing tech stack and marketing-to-sales funnel. The ideal candidate combines advanced analytical expertise with a deep understanding of data quality, funnel measurement, and operational rigor.
 
What you’ll be doing
Marketing Performance and Insights
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses on marketing investment efficiency, channel performance, buyer journeys, and lifecycle conversion metrics.
  • Partner with the marketing team to translate data into insights that improve targeting, segmentation, campaign strategy, and pipeline impact.
  • Support forecasting and planning with scenario modeling, attribution insights, and historical performance trends.
  • Maintain scalable data models for marketing analytics; drive consistent KPI definitions, taxonomy, and reporting standards across the marketing organization.
  • Help build, optimize, and scale dashboards, reporting, and insights using Databricks, SQL, Tableau, and other BI tools.
Data Hygiene / Governance
  • Own data cleanliness, completeness, enrichment, and governance across marketing systems, including Marketo, Salesforce (SFDC), and connected platforms.
  • Monitor and improve data quality across the lead, contact, account, and opportunity objects to ensure accurate reporting and funnel visibility.
  • Implement and optimize data governance processes, including naming conventions, field management, taxonomy, standardization, and compliance frameworks.
  • Partner with RevOps and Sales Operations to ensure alignment and consistency of shared data structures and funnel definitions.
  • Manage integrations and data flow between marketing systems using Workato, Full Circle, and other tools—ensuring reliability, accuracy, and compliance.
  • Identify data issues (duplicates, sync errors, schema drift, inconsistencies) and proactively drive remediation and process improvements.
 
What you’ll have  
  • 6+ years of experience in Marketing Operations, Revenue Operations, or Marketing Analytics.
  • Expert-level proficiency with Databricks, SQL, data modeling, and advanced analysis.
  • Strong experience building dashboards and visualizations in Tableau.
  • Hands-on experience with Marketo, Salesforce, Workato, and Full Circle.
  • Deep understanding of B2B SaaS funnels, attribution models, and data structures.
  • Proven ability to convert complex data into actionable insights and clear storytelling.
  • Strong attention to detail and familiarity with best practices in data quality, governance, and operational rigor.

Preferred
  • Experience working as a data science analyst
  • Experience implementing or managing formal data governance programs.
  • Background supporting enterprise-level or high-growth B2B SaaS organizations.

In addition to a base salary, this role is also eligible for equity.

Hiring Compensation Range
