Microsoft Office365 Analyst

Position Summary
This role focuses on maximizing the value of the Office 365 suite through hands-on use of its productivity and collaboration features to deliver smart, scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Microsoft 365 Integration: Integrate Microsoft 365 tools (Teams, SharePoint) within current administrative operations to address and overcome existing challenges.
  • Digital Transformation: Help transition siloed operations into a more standardized and collaborative environment by maximizing the use of Microsoft tools.
  • Training & Knowledge Sharing: Bridge knowledge gaps by training staff on file storage, sharing, and data dissemination within Office 365.
  • AI & Automation: Explore AI-powered features in Microsoft 365 to streamline workflows and improve productivity.
  • Power BI Utilization: Enhance Power BI use across departments, integrating data from various units to create more efficient reporting systems.
  • Collaboration with Administrative Units: Work with administrative teams to streamline workflows and reduce redundant efforts through better data sharing and integration.
  • User Adoption & Support: Increase awareness and adoption of underutilized Microsoft tools such as Teams, SharePoint, and Visio, ensuring staff can fully leverage available resources.

This role is part of a college-wide initiative to enhance efficiency, promote digital transformation, and create a secure, collaborative Microsoft 365 environment.

Minimum Requirements
Knowledge equivalent to that which would be acquired by completing a four-year college degree program; three to five years of related work experience with application development, Microsoft 365, designing, scheduling, implementing, debugging, and testing of complex applications; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Desired Qualifications
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
  • Strong experience with Office 365 development tools (Power Automate, Power Apps, etc.), along with at least
  • 2 years of hands-on experience working with coding/scripting and AI tools (preferably Microsoft 365 AI/Copilot).
  • Knowledge of Teams, SharePoint, and Power BI for workflow optimization. Experience with data integration and working with APIs. Experience with ColdFusion and/or Java is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to train and support end-users.
