Requirements
 Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Network Administrator with at least three years of hands-on experience managing and maintaining enterprise networks. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of our client's network infrastructure while supporting day-to-day IT operations. Experience with Fortinet and/or Ubiquiti networking equipment would be ideal but not required.
This is a remote, contract-to-permanent opportunity. 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Configure, monitor, and maintain network infrastructure including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points.
  • Manage and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless connectivity across multiple sites.
  • Monitor network performance and proactively identify, diagnose, and resolve issues.
  • Implement and enforce network security best practices, including access control, patch management, and monitoring tools.
  • Support server and storage environments as they relate to network connectivity and performance.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to support business operations and technology projects.
  • Maintain documentation for network architecture, procedures, and configurations.
  • Provide tier-1/2 support for escalated network-related incidents and service requests.

Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a Network Administrator or in a similar role. 
  • Hands-on experience with Fortinet firewalls and Ubiquiti networking equipment (desired) 
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, and routing protocols. 
  • Experience managing network security policies, firewall rules, and intrusion prevention/detection systems. 
  • Familiarity with monitoring and management tools for performance and security. 
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
