  • Preferred certifications: CCNA/CCNP; experience with Cisco ASA, Firepower, Meraki, Palo Alto, routers, switches, and wireless controllers.

About the Opportunity

The Platform Engineer - Network contributes to designing, implementing and managing corporate/enterprise wired and wireless networks as well as secure remote access solutions. They will also be responsible for keeping a healthy infrastructure, supporting ERP and non-ERP environments as well as providing both proactive and reactive support while collaborating with cross-functional teams and receiving guidance from Senior team members.

What you will bring

3+ years of experience working within an IT department servicing corporate and enterprise networksFortinet or Cisco knowledge/certificationA firm understanding of TCP/IP and associated protocols such as DNS, DHCP, 802.1Q, NAT, PAT, SNMP, SYSLOG, OSPF, and BGPExperience configuring, managing, and diagnosing DNS solution.Experience configuring, managing, and diagnosing LAN, WAN, and wireless networks and network equipment such as L2 and L3 switching, WAPs, routers, firewalls, and VPNs. All with an emphasis on Cisco equipmentExperience working in or on systems at a datacenterExperience configuring IPSEC VPN tunnelsExperience with ZTNA solutionsExperience with overlay networksExperience implementing 802.1xExperience with RADIUSExperience using network analysis tools like Wireshark, TCPDump, etc.

Preferred Qualifications

CCNA/CCNP certification is preferred.Experience with one or more Cisco ASA, Cisco Firepower, Meraki, Palo Alto.Experience with Cisco Routers, Cisco SwitchesExperience with Cisco AP's and Wireless Controllers
