Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable and service-oriented Office Associate to support the day-to-day operations of the department. This individual will serve as a central point of contact for students, faculty, and guests, while ensuring our front office and general administrative functions run smoothly. The ideal candidate will demonstrate initiative, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service in a dynamic academic environment.

Key ResponsibilitiesEnsures effective front-line support and general office coordination by managing departmental communications, greeting visitors, answering calls, and supporting student, faculty, and staff inquiries. Provide broad administrative assistance including scheduling meetings, taking minutes, preparing class and meeting materials, assisting with event coordination, travel arrangements, and mail distribution. Oversees key aspects of office logistics such as supply inventory, copier maintenance, conference room scheduling, building maintenance reporting, key and access control, and facilities coordination.

Additional years of completed relevant education may substitute for experience on a year-for-year basis. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and demonstrated ability to learn new software systems. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and multitasking skills. Ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality, and manage competing priorities in a busy office environment.
