The Warehouse and Logistics Analyst supports global warehouse operations, outbound shipping performance, and inbound ocean freight execution. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day 3PL performance, auditing shipping and compliance processes, and ensuring efficient movement of goods through the network. It requires strong experience in warehouse operations and logistics, with a focus on cost optimization, service level adherence, and operational visibility.

Attributes required for success in the role

  • Warehousing and 3PL Management – This role serves as the primary owner of 3PL performance globally. You are a hands-on operator who understands warehouse KPIs, has experience working with third-party logistics partners, and can enforce SLAs and operational standards.
  • Operational Detail Orientation – You are comfortable working in the details of warehouse performance, shipping audits, and compliance tracking to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Communication – You serve as a primary point of contact for 3PL partners and communicate clearly with both internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Warehousing and 3PL Management

  • Serve as the daily point of contact for eight global warehouses, supporting issue resolution and operational alignment.
  • Monitor warehouse performance to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment, identifying and addressing backlog risks.
  • Track and support adherence to KPIs and SLAs across warehouse partners.
    Audit warehouse processes and maintain logs to ensure operational accuracy and compliance.

Shipping and Carrier Management

  • Audit outbound shipping to ensure appropriate carrier and service level selection.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize shipping cost and performance through service selection and routing.
  • Own quoting and re-bidding processes for carrier services to reduce cost and improve service levels.

Inbound Ocean Logistics and Compliance

  • Own inbound ocean freight execution, including booking coordination, tracking, and on-time delivery to warehouses.
  • Track shipments and escalate risks that may impact inventory availability.
  • Support HTS code management and tariff compliance processes.
  • Validate shipment and customs documentation to ensure alignment with operational execution and escalate discrepancies.

Customs and Compliance Support

  • Collaborate with the compliance team to ensure tariff codes are properly assigned and maintained.
  • Support validation of customs documentation with freight forwarders.
  • Maintain alignment between supplier data, shipping documentation, and compliance requirements.

Qualifications and attributes

  • 2+ years’ experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, or logistics on a global scale.
  • 2+ years’ experience in warehouse operations or 3PL management.
  • Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred).
  • Proven ability to track and improve KPIs for fulfillment, labor, and cost.
  • Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple warehouses and regions.
  • Excellent communication skills with both internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Willingness to travel internationally 2-4 times per year.
