Advertising/Posting Title | Outreach and Education Specialist, PQC-VT
Posting Summary | The Perinatal Quality Collaborative of Vermont (PQC-VT) seeks an Outreach and Education Specialist to support community engagement and coalition-based quality improvement efforts aimed at improving perinatal and family health outcomes across Vermont. This position will foster relationships with healthcare and community partners, facilitate coalition activities, and help build members’ knowledge and skills through education and training.
Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience) | Bachelor’s degree in public health, social work, psychology, community development, or related field and 3 to 5 years professional experience working in public health, human/community development required. Experience working in interdisciplinary group settings.
Desirable Qualifications | Ability to work with people from a variety of backgrounds. Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage diverse projects simultaneously. Excellent oral and written communication skills, interpersonal skills and self-motivation. Positive, proactive and personable team player. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Special interest in building community engagement for better health outcomes for Vermont families, specifically pregnant people and newborn highly preferred.
Anticipated Pay Range | $55,000-$65,000

Special Conditions | A probationary period may be required, Contingent on continued funding, Occasional evening and/or weekends required (if non-exempt position, may result in overtime), Travel to and from worksites required, This position is eligible for a hybrid schedule with an option to split time between campus and elsewhere, in accordance with the university telecommuting policy, Background Check required for this position
