Outreach & Enrollment Assistant Full Description

Job Summary
This is a unique opportunity to assist clients in the office navigating resources to address the social determinants of health and represent the Family Health Clinic in the community through outreach efforts.  This position serves as North Central Nursing Clinics of Delphi, Burlington, Wolcott and Monon’s expert in Medicaid and Marketplace insurance options; educating and assisting patients and community members through the enrollment process that best meets their individual circumstances. This person will also assist in coordinating associated marketing functions for the clinic. The ideal candidate will assist in planning and implementing outreach activities to represent the Family Health Clinic to the communities served on and off the clinic campus. Evening and weekend hours may be required for this position.

Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma/GED.  Associates or bachelors degree preferred.
  • Four years of experience in social services, outreach, or marketing.
 
Skills Needed: 
  • Basic Computer Skills with proficiency in Word and Excel.
  • Knowledge of presentation software and social media platforms.
  • Excellent Communication Skills with Customer Service Focus.
  • Certified Indiana Navigator and Certified Application Counselor or willingness to pursue upon hire.
  • Demonstrated tact, patience, and excellent oral and written communication skills in dealing with patients, peers, and external partners. 
  • Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work appropriately.
  • Ability to cope with complex situations in a professional manner.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect.
  • Clean and neat appearance.
 
What is Helpful:
