JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
The Penn State College of Engineering is seeking to fill a part-time graduate program support position to assist with various administrative duties at the University Park campus.
Duties include but are not limited to:
  • Assisting with planning graduate recruitment events
  • Engaging in verbal and written communication with prospective students regarding the application process, campus visits and application status.
  • Preparing acceptance/rejection letters
  • Providing support to the full time Academic Program Coordinator

This position is a part-time position, with an average of 20-24 hours per week, and will offer a hybrid work arrangement that combines remote and on campus working. Applications will be reviewed until the position is filled.

Qualifications:
  • Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new software packages.
  • Excellent organizational, communication (oral and written), and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment, manage multiple priorities, and demonstrate a genuine appreciation in working with different audiences.
  • Graduate program experience preferred but not required.
