The Center for Acoustics and Vibration in Penn State's College of Engineering is hiring a part-time Seminar and Website Coordinator to help deliver a smooth seminar experience, from event promotion to day-of logistics, working closely with the Center's Director.

Responsibilities

Coordinates bi-weekly seminars during the academic year, including setup, basic A/V support, and on-site logistics
Sets up Zoom webinars and supports hybrid and virtual speaker events
Creates and posts event promotions across the website, email announcements, and other channels
Posts event recordings to the website after each seminar

Qualifications

Strong communication skills, including email writing and short promotional copy
Comfort using Zoom and learning basic website posting workflows
Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented, with comfort handling on-site logistics and basic A/V setup
