As a Partner Success Manager, you own the strategic experience for a portfolio of renewal partners. Your goal is to ensure smooth, consistent delivery each term—using structured systems and scalable touchpoints to drive retention, satisfaction, and operational clarity.

You’ll own the academic and strategic experience while collaborating with Partner Operations, Enrollment, and Marketing to make the complex feel simple for partners. You’ll also support Sales and Growth leads in identifying new opportunities. In addition, you will play a direct role in advancing renewal readiness by surfacing retention risks early, driving toward clear commitments and scope alignment, and helping partners articulate internal wins through shared data, reporting, and advocacy tools.

This role is ideal for someone who excels at cross-functional collaboration, structured communication, and data-informed partner stewardship.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Partner Management
  • Own the partner relationship across a portfolio of scaled renewals
  • Lead annual planning, key term-based touchpoints, and in-term communications
  • Deliver end-of-term snapshots and end-of-year reports that support retention and expansion
  • Maintain up-to-date records in Salesforce and other databases 
  • Manage scopes of work and ensure alignment to agreed program structure
  • Prepare partner champions and stakeholders with the right data and stories support internal advocacy and renewal success

Lifecycle Delivery & Scale
  • Coordinate with Partner Ops on registration setup, billing, census, and IOR access
  • Ensure clean campaign launches via standard processes and QA flows
  • Track registration and engagement data via dashboards and partner check-ins

Risk Identification & Growth Enablement
  • Monitor trends in enrollment, engagement, and delivery performance across partners
  • Surface potential risks, gaps, or expansion opportunities to the assigned Sales/Growth lead
  • Collaborate on renewal strategy, helping define terms, timing, and value narrative
  • Collaborate with Enrollment to ensure partners are aligned to campaign timelines and setup expectations
  • Troubleshoot and help resolve critical enrollment blockers in partnership with Enrollment and Partner Ops, navigating internal systems and institutional constraints to mitigate friction and support student conversion

Stakeholder Engagement & Marketing Collaboration
  • Work with Marketing to explore and expand co-marketing opportunities on campus, engaging key influencers such as academic advisors, faculty, career services, and other enrollment stakeholders
  • Co-develop a socialization playbook with Marketing to help partners promote the program across campus and activate internal champions
  • Support execution of the playbook with partners, adapting strategies to their institutional context and priorities
  • Maintain and update each partner’s unique value proposition in collaboration with Marketing and Enrollment to reflect program goals, differentiators, and student outcomes
  • Assist Marketing Campaign Managers in understanding institutional nuances and identifying strategic marketing opportunities that drive awareness and conversion

Systems, Documentation & Best Practices
  • Contribute to Partner Success documentation, FAQs, and lifecycle playbooks
  • Maintain clarity on partner data and reduce escalations through clean systems use
  • Support testing and adoption of scalable engagement tools 

Qualifications
  • 3+ years in customer success, account management, or higher education partnerships
  • Experience managing scaled portfolios and delivering consistent partner outcomes
  • Demonstrated success collaborating with Sales to drive renewals and/or expansion opportunities
  • Skilled collaborator across Ops, Marketing, and Sales functions
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and comfort managing partner-facing systems
  • Strong time management and communication skills—clear, consistent, and strategic
  • Bonus: Experience navigating registration, program planning, or academic delivery in edtech/higher ed

This role is remote-flexible. We are located on South Congress Ave (next door to Allen’s Boots!) and would love to have you in the office occasionally, but no relocation necessary.
