Team Overview

Our Marketing team leads, develops, and executes PowerSchool’s global marketing initiatives. Responsible for brand, corporate communications, demand-generation, and solution marketing, the team works across all major marketing functions to drive alignment of the organization’s messages across all channels to ensure we meet our sales targets.

Responsibilities:

 

We are looking for a product marketer with strong technical instincts and a passion for translating complex systems into clear, meaningful value for customers. As the Platform Product Marketing Manager, you will own the positioning, narrative, and go-to-market strategy for PowerSchool’s platform capabilities, including AI, Connected Intelligence, data interoperability, and integrations.

 

This role sits at the center of our platform evolution. As we make significant investments in our platform vision, you will help shape how that future is understood by the market. You will work closely with product leaders and solution marketers to turn deep technical documentation into compelling stories that show how connected data and workflows make educators more effective in their day-to-day work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve the platform positioning and messaging across AI, data, integrations, and interoperability capabilities.
  • Partner deeply with platform product teams to understand technical architecture, roadmap direction, and system-level value.
  • Translate platform capabilities into clear customer-facing narratives that connect technology to educator priorities and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with solution-focused product marketers to ensure platform value is consistently reflected across solution and product storytelling.
  • Develop cross-portfolio content such as platform web pages, integration documentation, value frameworks, and thought leadership.
  • Support competitive differentiation related to platform, data, and AI capabilities across go-to-market efforts.
  • Enable Sales, Solution Engineering, and CX teams with the clarity and confidence to represent the platform story in customer conversations.
  • Measure success through messaging adoption, platform engagement signals, and influence on pipeline and expansion opportunities.

Qualifications:

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in product marketing or related strategic marketing roles.
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand and explain complex platforms, data flows, and integrations.
  • Proven storytelling skills with a track record of turning technical concepts into clear customer value.
  • Experience working closely with product management and engineering teams.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and shaping narratives in fast-evolving technical environments.
  • Experience with AI, data platforms, integrations, or enterprise SaaS strongly preferred.
  • Education technology experience is a plus but not required.

A reasonable estimate of the base compensation range for this position is $117,900 - $147,400 USD. This compensation range is specific to the United States and it incorporates many factors including but not limited to an applicant's skills and prior relevant experience and training; licensures, degrees, and certifications; internal equity; internal pay ranges; and market data/range parameters.
