  • Position is 100% remote with 0-25% travel, up to 72 hours for onsite client consulting, domestic or international.

About the Opportunity
  • Ellucian Company LLC has an opening for a full-time Principal Consultant in Reston, VA 20191 (HQ)
    Duties are to work with team members across the organization to help identify, design, and execute the pre-
    configuration of the Banner or Colleague module area/capability areas in their respective area of subject
    matter expertise. Collect requirements for pre-configuration needs from consultants delivering in the field
    to shape and validate the use cases for each instance of pre-configuration. Contribute to creating a
    standardized set of delivery materials to be used against the pre-configuration and the prescriptive delivery
    model as developed in conjunction between PS delivery consulting and Enablement consulting experts.
    Collaborate with various departments within the organization to help create and implement
    communications, training, and essential change management materials and tools to facilitate the adoption of
    prescriptive delivery, ensuring their seamless integration into field operations. Work alongside delivery
    project teams beginning with the kickoff phase, providing hands-on mentoring and support throughout the
    delivery phase, helping teams start effectively with the necessary tools and knowledge, and offering
    coaching in real-world client engagements to ensure teams are well-prepared and confident. Design and
    establish effective continuous feedback mechanisms by leveraging existing knowledge management
    solutions to conduce retrospectives and integrate lessons learned into delivery standards and practices.
    Review and evaluate the effectiveness of delivery materials and make continuous improvements based on
    user feedback and performance metrics. Contribute to updating and documenting team processes,
    procedures, and templates as we design, develop, deliver, and implement our standards and practices.
    Develop processes for maintaining materials moving forward and preparing for product releases. Stay
    current with PS delivery practices, Innovation delivery package updates, industry best practices, and higher
    education best practices to ensure that delivery content and practices remains current, scalable, and built-in
    consideration of customer needs. Actively contribute to the COO delivery function, partner tightly across
    the PS and CTO organizations to suggest new ways to improve and streamline how delivery work is done
    to help ensure standardization and scale of all delivery functions going forward. Continuously identify
    opportunities for process improvements in the delivery readiness workflow, striving to enhance efficiency
    and customer satisfaction. Maintain keen ability to work multiple high-priority, highly visible projects
    simultaneously, with an ability to drive multiple projects to completion in an environment with competing
    deadlines. Requires a Bachelor's or its foreign equivalent in higher education, technology, business, or a
    related major. Higher degree accepted but not a minimum requirement plus 3 years experience in in job
    offered or related occupation with higher educational institutions in consulting, technology, or related field.
    Experience must include 3 years' experience as a PS Consultant or a mix of PS consulting and customer-
    facing experience working with Ellucian Banner or Colleague solutions, including 2 years as a consultant or
    other similar delivery and/or customer-facing role & 2 years' experience in managing a broad range of
    technology projects and demonstrated learning ability. This is 100% remote position. Travel requirement:
    0-25% - up to 72 hours including travel time to various anticipated client locations for onsite consulting on
