Position Information: This is a regular, full-time position, reporting to the Product Management Director.
 
Compensation: Base pay is anticipated to be between $87,986.00 and $120,000.00 per year. Eligible employees may also receive incentive/commission/annual bonus pay based on individual and/or company performance. Compensation may vary based on factors such as, but not limited to, individual skills, experience, training, education/certifications, geographic location, internal equity, and local market conditions.
 
Location: In this US-based position your location will be remote.

Envision Your Experience.
In this role you’ll have the opportunity to:
  • Assess and unify practices across product lines related to print and kits, surfacing inefficiencies, risks, and opportunities.
  • Build decision-making frameworks (e.g., cost models, trade-off guides, impact assessments) that help PMs weigh customer needs against business constraints.
  • Create and maintain tools, trackers, and dashboards that provide visibility into print/kit costs, timelines, and implications for product strategy, increasing transparency and consistency across product lines.
  • Partner with Product Managers to align physical components with digital-first strategy and customer experience goals.
  • Serve as liaison between Product and Print & Kit Operations, ensuring operational realities are integrated into product strategy, and ensuring product vision is clearly reflected in day-to-day operations.
  • Provide margin-focused recommendations to leadership, identifying opportunities to reduce redundancy, streamline physical components, and improve product profitability.
  • Enable and train PMs on best practices and systems developed by this role, ensuring adoption across product lines.
  • Partner with internal product teams and operations to understand their requirements and translate them into effective print and kit systems.
  • Define success metrics, monitor usage, and continuously improve physical components and internal systems based on feedback and data.
  • Manage all aspects of strengthening and improving the print-based curriculum on both a course-by-course basis and a program wide basis.
  • Develop new print-based product management systems and revise existing print-based product procedures.
  • Collect and assess curriculum feedback information and recommend new products or changes to existing products.
  • Triage, investigate, and track issues reported from internal and external stakeholders, keeping an eye on print schedules, printer requirements, and ensure that all titles are delivered for printing in a timely manner.
  • Quarterly or as needed travel for team meetings.
  • Other duties as required.
 
Share Your Expertise.
Experience, education, and qualifications essential for success in this role, include:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Education, Product Management, Business, Technology, or a related field and at least 4 years of Product Management experience ideally focused on product operations, enablement, or program management; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in the edtech industry highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of print production, kit development, or physical product integration alongside digital offerings.
  • Skilled at analyzing costs, margins, and trade-offs to recommend financially sound product strategies.
  • Experience with online project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, etc. in partnership with excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders with competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Data-driven, analytical thinker with the ability to identify and understand complex problems and formulate alternate solutions.
  • Ability to build and contribute to team cohesiveness, lead, influence, and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve challenging goals.
  • Highly motivated self-starter with strong organizational skills; self-directed to manage multiple priorities with demanding timeframes.
  • Ability to cope with change, shift gears comfortably, and decide and act appropriately.
  • Experience working, influencing, and networking within a matrix organization.
