As the Product Marketing Manager, Math Strategy, you will get to know and deeply understand our customers and products. With a passion for serving educators, you will create product positioning and messaging that reflects customer needs and develop marketing plans and campaigns focused on solutions to help schools and educators address some of their biggest challenges. In addition, You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business goals and ensure that our products effectively meet customer needs.

Who we're looking for:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to promote Curriculum Associates’ math products, including textbooks, digital learning materials, and related services designed to support strong implementations. 
  • Collaborate with product development teams to ensure alignment between product features, target audience needs, and marketing strategies. 
  • Create compelling positioning to effectively communicate product value propositions and benefits through marketing materials, conferences and webinars. 
  • Create and share product messaging to clearly, accurately, and succinctly articulate how Curriculum Associates can help with trending topics and concerns in Math.
  • Work closely with product management team to understand roadmaps.
  • Create compelling assets that connect product features to benefits and help educators understand how product improvements drive gains for students.
  • Serve as a key stakeholder on Go to Market teams for new math products and features.
  • Collaborate with Adoption Enablement to coordinate strategies for state curriculum adoptions, including understanding state-specific standards and requirements, conducting in-depth competitive analyses, and working with Regional Marketing to craft executable plans that maximize success. 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including Sales teams, Product Development, Implementation and Enablement. 
  • Partner with Enablement to support strategic sales initiatives, driving new business and customer retention.
  • Serve as a competitive landscape subject matter expert for agreed products, responsible for completing and maintaining competitive analysis, developing competitive marketing messaging, developing and delivering training.
  • Research, understand and articulate the needs of our decision makers, such as district administrators, curriculum directors, and school principals, as well as front-line educators.
  • Consolidate market & customer insights from across the company to drive business goals and messaging.
  • Ensure core product information and assets, including competitor battlecards, are available for use across marketing and sales, to an agreed schedule, for agreed products / platforms.
  • Draft product launch & release plans for review by stakeholders, collaborate with creative, campaign and regional teams to implement plans in market.
  • Brief impactful campaigns

The impact you'll have:

  • 3+ years of professional experience. Experience in product marketing, product management, campaign development, or a related field for a technical product
  • Experience in creating marketing materials, customer-facing product documentation, or support resources.
  • K-8 mathematics teaching or instructional leadership experience strongly preferred.
  • Proven experience in mathematics product marketing within the educational publishing or ed tech industry, with a strong understanding of mathematics standards, educational materials, curriculum development, and K-12 markets. 
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing marketing strategies that drive product awareness, engagement, and sales growth. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling marketing content and effectively communicate with diverse audiences. 
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools to measure marketing campaign performance and derive actionable insights. 
  • Highly organized with excellent project management skills, able to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines. 
  • Passion for education and a commitment to improving learning outcomes through innovative mathematics product solutions. 

Pay Range: This role’s range is $69,250 - 118,250 . The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that Curriculum Associates considers in making compensation decisions based on our Compensation Philosophy. Actual base pay within that range will vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, prior experience and relevant skill sets. At Curriculum Associates, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances for each case. This role is also eligible to participate in the company bonus plan. The Company recognizes that minimum wage varies by location and will ensure all compensation decisions comply with applicable state and local laws.
