The Product Marketing Manager for SLA  will have deep knowledge and understanding of both our customers and our products. You will create product positioning and messaging that reflects customer needs and develop marketing plans and campaigns that are focused on solutions to help schools and educators address some of their biggest challenges. 

With strong written and presentation skills in Spanish and English, a passion for serving educators, the ability to synthesize complex information, and understand the unique nuances that are important to bilingual education, you will work closely with our product management, marketing and field teams.

We are looking for a strong collaborator with an eye for detail combined with the ability to tell compelling stories, an analytical and creative problem solver, and someone with project and process management skills to ensure timely delivery of projects and information.

The impact you'll have:

Sharing the voice of the decision maker and educator

  • Research, understand and articulate the needs of our decision makers such as district administrators, curriculum directors, and school principals as well as educators
  • Consolidate market & customer insights from across the company to drive business goals and messaging
  • Create Buyer Personas, Buyers Journey maps, and clearly articulate customer needs across the organization, with input from manager
Creating best-in-class product positioning, messaging, and differentiation
  • Ensure core product information and assets, including competitor battlecards, are available for use across marketing and sales, to an agreed schedule, for agreed products / platforms
  • Create and share product messaging to clearly, accurately, and succinctly articulate how Curriculum Associates can help with trending topics in bilingual education.

GTM Strategy & Planning

  • Work closely with product management team to understand roadmaps
  • Create compelling assets that connect product features to benefits and help educators understand how product improvements drive gains for students
  • Draft product launch & release plans for review by stakeholders, collaborate with creative, campaign and regional teams to implement plans in market

Collaboration & Communication

  • Partner with field and creative teams to amplify our voice in market
    • Brief impactful campaigns
    • Collaborate on content creation
  • Partner with Educator Impact to support strategic sales initiatives, driving new business and customer retention
  • Work across the organization, particularly product teams, on market research, including dissemination of critical customer insights and analysis (thought leadership)
  • Work alongside the ELA teams to have consistent bilingual messaging for all products in our portfolio that would be used in a bilingual setting.

Who we're looking for:

  • Understanding of the nuances of the many cultures and backgrounds that make up the Spanish-speaking populations of both teachers and students.
  • Experience in product marketing, product management, campaign development or a related field for a technical product
  • Experience creating marketing materials, customer-facing product documentation, or support resources
  • Experience in K8/K12 bilingual or multilingual classroom or education environment
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in Spanish and English

Pay Range: This role’s range is $69,250 - 118,250. The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that Curriculum Associates considers in making compensation decisions based on our Compensation Philosophy. Actual base pay within that range will vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, prior experience and relevant skill sets. At Curriculum Associates, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances for each case. This role is also eligible to participate in the company bonus plan. The Company recognizes that minimum wage varies by location and will ensure all compensation decisions comply with applicable state and local laws.
