Job Overview
The Product Research team plays a critical role in shaping Coursera’s learner and partner experience. We uncover user needs and translate them into insights that help teams build intuitive, impactful products. As a Product Researcher focused on the Enterprise division, you will support research efforts that improve our admin, learner, and customer-facing workflows. Your work will influence user experience decisions across the product lifecycle — from micro-interaction refinements to informing feature development.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and conduct user research across multiple stages of the product development cycle using a range of qualitative and quantitative methods.
  • Deliver clear, actionable insights that help teams understand user needs and guide both tactical and ongoing product decisions.
  • Contribute to defining a research plan that aligns with product goals such as activation, adoption, and retention.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners including Product, Design, Customer Success, and Marketing to surface insights that inform product improvements and go-to-market considerations.
  • Work closely with Data Science to shape research questions, validate findings, and connect qualitative insights with behavioral metrics.
 
Basic Qualifications
  • 4-7  years of experience conducting user research with demonstrated impact on product development.
  • Strong knowledge of qualitative and quantitative UX research methods, supported by a portfolio of past research work and deliverables.
  • Strong communication skills with proficiency in spoken and written English.
 
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working on B2B or SaaS products, especially involving admin workflows, provisioning, integrations, or reporting.
  • Experience conducting research on complex or multi-system user journeys that span both on-platform and off-platform interactions.
  • Ability to communicate complex findings clearly and persuasively to varied audiences.
  • Ability to work independently, handle ambiguity, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
