Professional Development | Per Diem
Positions begin in the current school year 2026-2027. Per diem (minimum number of hours are not guaranteed). Schedules vary based on individual school needs. Skills needed in elementary school experience, middle/high school experience, math/science/STEM and ELA background.
Location: North FL-Duval/South GA area

Responsibilities
As a Professional Development Specialist with Catapult Learning, you will:
- Host dynamic and collaborative planning conferences that unleash the creative potential of educators.
- Coach, train, and mentor teachers individually/one-on-one.
- Craft creative example lessons that captivate students.
- Lead interactive professional development workshops when needed.
- Research and demonstrate instructional strategies.
- Foster a culture of active participation and vibrant open discussions.
- Ensure all educator development is completed successfully.
- Provide report documentation as required.
- Communicate actively with directors regarding activities.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in education or related field (master’s degree preferred).
- Experience teaching math, literacy, science or other relevant curriculum.
- Valid Florida teaching certificate required.
- 5 years of experience delivering professional development workshops to adult educators.
- 5 years of experience coaching teachers and/or school leaders cognitively, instructionally, or within a specific content-area focus.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Microsoft Office experience.
