Description
Offit Kurman, a nationally recognized Am Law 200 firm, is seeking an experienced Professional Development Specialist to design and deliver learning programs that strengthen attorney and staff growth. This role focuses on technology training and professional skills development, ensuring learning initiatives align with firmwide goals and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
• Deliver staff training programs focused on technology platforms and professional skills.
• Conduct needs assessments and contribute to the design and enhancement of learning programs.
• Create instructional materials, job aids, and eLearning content using Articulate 360 or similar tools.
• Evaluate program effectiveness using surveys and performance metrics and recommend improvements.
• Manage learning content and user progress in the LMS (experience with UKGLearning Pro strongly preferred).
• Support attorney and management development initiatives that align with firm strategy.
• Align work with firm strategic initiatives and perform additional duties as needed.

Requirements: 
• 4+ years of professional development or L&D experience (law firm experience strongly preferred).
• Proven expertise in instructional design, facilitation, and program evaluation.
•Articulate 360 or similar eLearning software experience required.
• LMS administration experience (preferably UKGLearning Pro).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of the firm.
• Proven project management and organizational abilities.
• Expertise in designing, delivering, and evaluating training programs.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design best practices.

Qualifying Experience: 
• Minimum of 4 years of professional development or learning and development (L&D) experience, preferably in a legal or professional services environment.
• Strong facilitation, instructional design, and program evaluation skills.
• Proficiency in learning management systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and legal software applications.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

• Physical Requirements: Involves prolonged periods of sitting and computer use, as well as standing, walking, and using hands for typing, handling documents, and office equipment. Tasks require strong visual abilities and effective oral communication skills. Occasional travel to other Firm offices with additional travel required during peak training or rollout periods.

• Work Environment: Typical office environment, the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
