Description

Location Requirements: This role is Hybrid to one of our offices: Austin, Wayne, Naperville. Remote candidates will be considered nationwide. Must be able to work Pacific Time Zone hours.

Your role on the team:

The ERP Consultant will work with client human resource, payroll and business office teams, and is responsible for training users, business process review/consultation, and configuration of the software.  

You can expect to:

  • Lead client implementations and requirements gathering, business analysis, system configuration, testing, and training.  
  • Analyze and assess client business needs and workflows; make consultative recommendations.  
  • Work with project management and other team members to ensure cohesive delivery.  
  • Recommend best practices to clients based on product capabilities and existing business process workflows.  
  • Provide technical expertise and training to clients.  
  • Maintain up-to-date system knowledge through product enhancements, changes, and defect fixes.  
  • Researches, analyzes, develops, and recommends processes and procedures to improve the customer's overall experience.  
  • Skilled in facilitating change management, providing guidance to organization leaders rolling out a new system and process.  
  • Handle escalations and tough, complex client problems. 
  • Maintain an average billable UTE target of 70%

What you bring to the role:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • Intellectually resourceful with sound judgment and effective decision-making abilities 
  • Independent worker and able to work effectively on daily tasks without direct supervision and partner and work within a team.  
  • Strong organization skills  
  • Understands when to escalate a problem to another team member and whom to escalate to; accepts escalated issues; and mentors when appropriate  
  • Work well with clients at all levels  
  • Operates with client satisfaction in mind  
  • Energy, enthusiasm and results-oriented  
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills  
  • Working knowledge of SQL, ability to create and run basic queries 

This role requires:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher  
  • Previous experience successfully managing large, complex or multiple clients simultaneously with minimal supervision.  
  • 7+ years serving customers in either California school district or county office of education  
  • Technical proficiency, solution mindset, communication and organizational skills are top strengths.  
  • Strong analytical skills, data management and reporting capabilities  
  • Prior California K12 or County Office of Education experience as a user or support provider (preferred)  
  • May require client travel up to 30%
