Program Administrator Full Description

Position Summary: 
Oversee the operation of the Mathematics department's non-degree and professional Master's graduate programs. Administer student service activities including student recruitment, admissions, academic and career counseling. Design and write marketing and informational materials for the program. Market and represent the program(s) to many constituencies, including prospective students, alumni, employers, Fellows and Advisory Board members. Interpret University policies and procedures and implement and monitor departmental compliance to those policies and procedures.

Qualifications: 
Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree and

Required Experience:
3+ years relevant experience or equivalent combination. Must include experience with planning and administering activities, academic advising, and staff supervision.

Preferred Experience:
Experience with student recruitment, admissions or career placement.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to market programs, solve problems and interact with individuals at all levels. Working knowledge of various software applications including HTML and web programming.

Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Knowledge of PhotoShop and/or computer design programs. Additional Information: 
In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $70,000.00 to USD $74,000.00. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
