Posting Context Statement  | The Center on Disabilities and Human Development (CDHD) is an independent unit within the College of Education, Health and Human Sciences. The CDHD is supported through a federal infrastructure grant with numerous projects funded through sponsored accounts.

The CDHD improves the lives of people with disabilities and their families by educating an interdisciplinary workforce, providing training and technical assistance within communities, conducting research, providing direct services and disseminating evidence-based information.
Position Overview  | The Program Assessment Coordinator, under the direction of IdahoSTARS project leadership, is responsible for providing guidance on and management of assessments necessary for programs participating in Quality Achievers. This includes understanding and overseeing the success of assessments administered in childcare facilities that are engaging in a cycle of continuous quality improvement as part of the IdahoSTARS Quality Recognition and Improvement System.

 Position Qualifications 
Required Experience  | Five years in early childcare and education or a related field One year with online program assessment software Three years using quality improvement assessments such as the Environmental Rating Scale Project management software Developing and delivering of training for adults Working in a collaborative team environment Experience with computer software and applications for word processing, developing spreadsheets, email and internet research
Required Education  | Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education
Required Other  | Ability to travel Ability to work nonstandard business hours that may include weekends and evenings
Additional Preferred  | EXPERIENCE More than five years of experience in early child care and education Five or more years of experience with early childhood quality assessment tools such as the ERSExperience or training with three or more early childhood assessment tools Demonstrated ability to write clearly and precisely
