Job Summary  | Supports healthcare outreach activities, including community events and programming at local middle and high schools, to promote Cleveland State University’s (CSU), College of Health (COH), healthcare career tracks, and the Pathways to Practice (P2P) program. Assists in developing annual outreach plans and pipeline strategies. Collaborates with COH leadership to coordinate faculty and student participation. Engages with community partners, attends relevant meetings, and helps maintain and grow relationships with local schools and nonprofit organizations. Administers pre/post-program surveys, tracks outreach data, and contributes to the CSU Healthcare Career Academy. Assists in student selection and evaluation for the Berkman Jackson Fellowship and P2P pathways, ensuring effective outreach and student recruitment efforts. Performs other functionally related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications  | Associate degree preferably in office administration, business administration or a related field. Administrative experience. Related work experience may be substituted for education requirements. One (1) year of related work experience can be substituted for one (1) year of education. For example, a candidate with a high school diploma, GED or state recognized equivalent and two (2) years of related work experience can be eligible to apply. Valid driver’s license and ability to establish and maintain driver eligibility under CSU Driving and Motor Vehicle Policy.

Preferred Qualifications  | Bachelor’s degree preferably in office administration, business administration or a related field. Two (2) years of experience in an administrative office in a higher education setting. Experience with a customer relationship management (CRM) platform and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System. Experience in preparing reports and project management.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)  | Ability to maintain confidentiality on a wide range of issues. Effective written and verbal communication skills, organizational skills, and decision-making abilities. Ability to effectively work on a team and practice inclusion at all organizational levels. Ability to collaborate collegially with multidisciplinary staff and the CSU community. Ability to work effectively with diverse populations, in and around the Greater Cleveland Area. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint.
