Position Overview | This position is responsible for providing day-to-day operations support to team members throughout the planning, implementation and delivery of programs, and may serve as first point of contact for the unit.
Duties may include: Serving as primary contact with program participants, customer service and office support functions Facilitating communicating between program participants and managerial staff Coordinating arrangements for the program such as meetings, conferences and banquets Collecting, compiling and summarizing program data and managing records Maintaining program calendars and schedules May utilize University programs to create, review and approval financial documents, and to provide routine financial reports to the program administrator Other duties as assigned

Required Experience | Three years performing administrative, office and/or program support functions Composing, proofing and editing a variety of documents, using proper grammar and punctuation as demonstrated in application materials Using computer software and applications for word processing, developing spreadsheets, email and internet research
Required Education | High School Diploma or equivalent
Required Other | Ability to travel Ability to work nonstandard business hours which may include weekends and holidays Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to meet policy requirements for driving university vehicles
Additional Preferred | Bachelor’s degree One year or more of relevant experience in higher education, alumni relations, engagement, event coordination or customer‑focused roles Strong organizational, time management and communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Working with student organizations or volunteers Coordinating events or engagement programs
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions | Ability to lift, carry or otherwise move up to 25 pounds Ability to sit at a desk and work on a computer for long periods of time
Degree Requirement | Listed degree qualification is required at time of hire
