Advertising/Posting Title | VTSGC Program Administrator/Coordinator
Posting Summary | The VTSGC Program Administrator/Coordinator will coordinate and/or manage all extramurally funded projects and programs for the Vermont Space Grant Consortium (VTSGC) and Vermont NASA EPSCoR within the College of Engineering and Mathematical Sciences at UVM. Work with the Director and Assistant Director to develop and implement strategic plans, submit new grant applications, and to ensure continued advancement of the Vermont consortium’s mission. Manage operations to ensure that programmatic goals are met. Work to develop progress reports as required by federal agencies. Oversee implementation of outreach activities with constituents across the State of Vermont, including affiliate organizations. Serve as a representative of the VTSGC and Vermont NASA EPSCoR within the relevant national communities. Includes regular travel to regional and national meetings and affiliate locations in Vermont. Have primary responsibility for program evaluation and collaboration with the External Evaluator.
Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience) | Bachelor’s degree in a STEM or related field and two to four years’ related experience required. Experience with program coordination and/or management and STEM research and outreach. Effective analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills required.
Desirable Qualifications | Advanced degree in a STEM discipline STEM research experience5+ years of program management and coordination experienceExperience working on outreach programs funded by federal grants
Anticipated Pay Range | $65,000-$70,000
Other Information | Position may be eligible for a hybrid telework schedule based on the successful completion of the probationary period. However, this position is required to have an on-campus presence based on its essential functions.
