| Description: Manages the day-to-day operations of a small or medium-sized university program or department. May supervise staff employees, student workers, programs or processes. 

1. Plans and develops procedures for administering a small or medium-sized department or program. 
2. Oversees program expenditures and ensures adherence to budget. 
3. Provides guidance to subordinate staff and evaluates performance. 
4. May prepare or participate in the creation of abstracts, research reports, funding proposals, operations and procedure manuals, and other written material and documentation. 
5. Reviews reports of budgets and activities. 
6. Prepares ad hoc reports as needed. 
7. May administer grants and grant-related related communications, scholarships and other operations. 
8. Develops, implements and maintains appropriate policies and procedures. 
9. May serve as property custodian for the department. 
10. Performs other job-related duties as assigned. 

Description: This position works in the Undergraduate Business Programs department at the C. T. Bauer College of Business. Successful candidates will have the ability to work independently as well as part of a team, work well under pressure, consistently meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects while remaining flexible and positive. This will require exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. Further, successful candidates will effectively communicate with all levels of management and fellow employees and be able to manage multiple employer relationships.

Position includes the following responsibilities but not limited to: 
1. Collaborate directly with the Director of Registration and Academic Records to plan and execute monthly Jesse H. Jones Business Leadership Development Program Workshops, ensuring seamless logistics and communication with stakeholders.
2. Manage room reservations across the C. T. Bauer College of Business, serving faculty, staff, and students while coordinating with university scheduling systems to optimize space utilization.
3. Oversee class scheduling for both undergraduate and graduate programs, ensuring accuracy, compliance with academic policies, and alignment with faculty availability and student needs.
4. Perform a variety of administrative tasks, including maintaining records, handling correspondence, and supporting day-to-day office operations.
5. Room set-up, room reservations, and catering.
6. Scheduling workshops and class schedules.
7. Assist with annual equipment inventory, key audits, and space surveys.
8. Submit FIXIT requests.

Preferences: 
• Candidates who are detailed oriented. 
• Experience with PeopleSoft Finance and university financials.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and willing to learn.

Qualifications: Education will be considered in lieu of experience.
