Program Manager Full Description

Position Summary: Direct and manage all aspects of programs within the ALT Department. Manage the delivery of ALT courses and technology. Develop and implement new policies and procedures to help deliver ALT online courses and manage ALT course sites. Liaise with offices throughout the University, including student services, registrar, bursar, financial aid, etc. Manage enrollment and registration processes. Manage and coordinate faculty appointments and ALT course set-up in collaboration with the ALT department. Manage vendor(s) to implement continuous improvement of course sites, delivery, and student experience. Work with students to answer questions, solve issues, and gather feedback. The Program Manager will be responsible for creating, coordinating, distributing, and compiling data from student surveys as well as reviewing data from other sources such as course analytics and website metrics, using data insights to drive improvement, reporting results and recommendations to department leadership. Monitor key performance indicators to ensure high student and faculty satisfaction. Liaise with faculty who are teaching ALT online courses for delivery and to resolve problems, develop policies and procedures, and implement improvements. Develop and coordinate communications with all involved within the department including students, faculty, and vendors. In coordination with department leadership, continually work to enhance and improve all components of ALT programs while strategizing on continued and sustainable growth across the ALT Department.

Qualifications: Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree

Required Experience:
5+ years Of relevant experience in higher education, student services, web and data management, online content or the equivalent combination.

Preferred Experience:
Experience in a large, highly selective college or university or in a non-profit organization.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Superior organizational and communication skills. Ability to work independently, in a fast-paced environment, ability to self-start and take initiative. Exhibits high forms of professionalism, independent judgment, diplomacy, interpersonal skills, including the demonstrated ability to develop effective relationships and communicate with diverse populations and stakeholders. Vision: taking an idea and bringing it to fruition with attention to detail. Manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously. Ability to supervise staff and students.

Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Google docs, Asana, Qualtrics or other survey software, data and web analytics experience. Problem triage, escalation and troubleshooting skills desirable. Image, graph and chart creation and editing skills desirable.

Additional Information: In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $70,000.00 to USD $84,460.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
