Job Description:
Position Salary Range: $56,000 - $60,000 per year; DOE

Essential Duties:
  • Supervise and develop professional support staff, including onboarding, performance management, workload prioritization, and ongoing feedback.
  • Provide strategic support to expand and enhance student research initiatives.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of undergraduate students regarding pre-internship processes; provide back-up support for additional undergraduate students during high-volume periods and as needed.
  • Lead coordination with Arizona school districts to facilitate Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) internships.
  • Coordinate experiential learning courses, including course scheduling, student readiness communications, and preparation of required documentation and materials.
  • Maintain and audit positions within the experiential learning opportunities database; collaborate with IT to resolve technical issues.
  • Advance employer engagement efforts and collaborate with ASU Career Services on career readiness initiatives such as career fairs, site visits, and workshops.
  • Contribute to the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of experiential learning initiatives, processes, and technologies.
  • Lead student communications and outreach efforts, including social media content, promotional materials, informational sessions, and class visits.
  • Design and implement program evaluation strategies to assess outcomes, ensure quality experiences, and inform leadership decision-making.
  • Serve as a liaison among academic leadership, faculty, and external stakeholders to ensure clear communication, effective collaboration, and timely program delivery.

Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience supporting data auditing, tracking, and reporting for accreditation reviews, program assessment, or institutional leadership requests.
  • Demonstrated ability to assess, document, and improve operational processes to enhance cross-functional workflows and increase team efficiency.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and a high level of organization.
  • Experience working with database systems or student information systems; ability to troubleshoot issues and partner with technical teams to resolve concerns.

The current training programs include behavioral health, biomedical diagnostics, biomedical informatics, exercise science, health promotion, health sciences, kinesiology, medical studies, nutrition, population health, science of health care delivery, and speech and hearing science. Our programs are offered at ASU's Downtown Phoenix, Tempe, Polytechnic, West and Lake Havasu campuses, as well as on Mayo Clinic's campus in north Phoenix.
