Job Summary
The Program Manager supports the planning, coordination, and administration of programs and initiatives within JSOM Abroad. This role focuses on project management, logistics, contracts, budgeting, and general program support to ensure smooth and efficient operations. The Program Manager collaborates with faculty, staff, students, and campus partners to advance program goals and enhance the overall student experience.
Minimum Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree; Three to five years experience in a field relevant to the program; or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Education and Experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in project management, program coordination, or international education administration.
  • Advanced degree in education, business, international studies, or related field.
  • Experience with program management platforms (e.g., Terra Dotta).
  • Experience with contracts, budgets, and financial reporting.
  • Familiarity with study abroad or faculty-led program administration.
Other Qualifications
To the extent this position requires the holder to research, work on, or have access to critical infrastructure as defined in Section 117.001(2) of the Texas Business and Commerce Code, the ability to maintain the security or integrity of the critical infrastructure is a minimum qualification to be hired and to continue to be employed in the position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Program & Project Support
  • Coordinate program logistics, including timelines, documentation, and required approvals.
  • Manage contracts, agreements, and supporting materials for program activities.
  • Monitor budgets, track expenses, and assist with financial reporting.
  • Gather and organize information from faculty and partners to support program planning and implementation.
  • Collaborate with faculty, staff, and campus stakeholders to ensure successful program execution.
Communication & Engagement
  • Assist with program promotion, information sessions, and student outreach.
  • Support communications, marketing materials, and website updates.
  • Help coordinate events and engagement opportunities connected to JSOM Abroad.
Administrative Support
  • Maintain program records, data, and informational materials.
  • Prepare reports on participation, program activity, and operational trends.
  • Provide general student support through shared communication channels.
  • Assist with process improvement and documentation of procedures.
