The University of Nebraska Omaha is hiring a Program Manager for the Nebraska Leaders Program. This role involves leading day-to-day operations, implementing program strategy, managing budgets and partner relationships, and providing career advising and coaching to students and alumni to foster leadership development and employment retention within Nebraska.
Highlights
Oversee Nebraska Leaders Program operations including recruitment, marketing, curriculum development, and student advising.
Provide career advising and strengths-based coaching focusing on career exploration, resume writing, interview preparation, and job search support.
Manage relationships with employer partners to expand internships, mentorships, and job opportunities.
Lead program evaluation through data collection, reporting, and continuous improvement.
Develop and manage the program budget and ensure compliance with organizational policies.
Coordinate career events such as career fairs, employer information sessions, and interview preparation programs.
Required to have a Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of experience in program management, career advising, or related fields preferably in higher education or workforce development.
Preferred qualification includes a Master’s degree and experience with program assessment.
Use career management systems like LinkedIn and Handshake for student support.
Annual salary range is $60,000 to $75,000 with a full-time exempt appointment.
