The Division of University Relations seeks a highly organized, detail-oriented, creative Program Manager of Development for the University Libraries.

Reporting to the Chief Development Officer\Assistant Dean of Development for University Libraries, the Program Manager, will coordinate a comprehensive constituent engagement program that includes events, programs, communications, and volunteer management, including the Libraries Advancement Council.

In partnership with University Relations' Donor Relations and Stewardship team, will implement and manage a donor relations/stewardship plan that retains and inspires donors to support Libraries to the fullest potential. This will include generative creative and compelling donor impact reports, thank you correspondence, and activity coding/reporting.

The Program Manager will collaborate on the administrative functions for the Chief Development Officer, and at times, the Dean. This includes preparing meeting and event briefings, working on travel itineraries, overseeing the unit's budget, tracking travel expenses and reimbursements, and general office duties.

The Program Manager will work with the Office of Annual Giving, with feedback provided by the Chief Development Officer and Strategic Communications, to help plan and execute Giving Day/Giving Tuesday activities.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.

Experience: Five (5) years of professional scholarship activities, gift administration, stewardship, or donor relations experience.

Other: Additional work experience as defined above may be substituted on a year for year basis for up to four (4) years of the required education.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:

Knowledge of donor & alumni related policies and procedures, and federal, state, and other applicable related laws, rules, regulations, and ordinances.
Skill in oral and written communication.
Skill in the use of Microsoft Office products.
Ability to multitask and prioritize assignments.
Ability to interpret and apply policies, procedures, regulations, and laws.
