Position Description 
Advertised Job Summary  | Under the supervision of CRPH directors, contributes to the success of cross-longitudinal programs for the School of Medicine-Columbia, South Carolina Center for Rural and Primary Healthcare. Collaborates closely with the Center’s directors and portfolio managers to ensure the execution of center initiatives and funded projects, including establishing timelines and monitoring the achievement of milestones. Demonstrates commitment to conducting business lawfully and ethically by consistently adhering to compliance policies, procedures, and regulations. This position is established in support of expanded research activities.
Job Related Minimum Required Education and Experience  | Requires a bachelor’s degree in a job-related field and five or more years of job-related experience, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of job-related certification, training, education, and/or experience.

Preferred Qualifications  | Master’s degree in Public Health and experience in clinical services, strategic planning, and care coordination to support community health development and improve rural health outcomes.

Manages and coordinates the health delivery programs for the SC Center for Rural and Primary Healthcare. This includes assisting Center Directors on managing programs, encompassing such duties as communicating with programs regarding progress and acting as a liaison to departments and grantees to administer Center grants and contracts. This position reports progress to the center Directors on these programs, anticipates ongoing program requirements, initiates the preparation of information to meet long-term goals and objectives, as well as assists with the preparation of proposals and reports. Leads the provision of technical assistance to healthcare organizations, systems, and programs to help improve their performance, operations, and quality-of-care to rural communities.
