Job Summary
The Upward Bound Project Coordinator duties include:
  • Recruiting of eligible participants, serving as an academic advisor to program participants Administering and evaluating academic and needs survey assessments
  • Assisting participants with completion of PSI admission and financial aid forms
  • Developing and conducting student development workshops
  • Accompanying program participants to cultural events
  • Attending professional development training
  • Other duties as assigned by the Project Director
Minimum Qualifications
1. Master’s degree in education, counseling, social work, higher administration or a related field.
2. Two years of experience with academic support programs or similar programs for fist-generation potential college students.
3. Two years of experience in the areas of assisting with staff supervisions, budget management, and program development.
Preferred Qualifications
1. Previous experience in working with students from similar backgrounds.
Will this position require driving (personal vehicle, university vehicle, utility vehicle, or golf cart) in order to perform the job duties? Driving may be necessary but is not a primary responsibility
