Job Summary  | The Project Coordinator for the Deep South Leadership and Environmental
Action Program (LEAP) will be responsible for coordinating communication
and general activities between Troy University faculty, undergraduate
mentors, local school science teachers, and their students. The
Coordinator will also be responsible for assisting in the development of
core Environmental Science curriculum to elementary, middle, and highschool students, assist in the administration of data collection, record keeping, and evaluation tools as needed.
Minimum Qualifications  | High School diploma or equivalent
Strong knowledge of high school science curricula
Familiarity with environmental science principles
Preferred Qualifications  | Bachelor’s degree or higher in education and/or science
Experience working with high school students in an informal setting
Experience organizing and executing community projects
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
