Job Description  | The Project Coordinator—Operations & Handshake is responsible for overseeing operational functions and managing the Handshake platform to support student career readiness, employer engagement, and data-driven decision-making. This role ensures the effective execution of career-related programs, events, and support, with a strong emphasis on technology integration and project coordination.

This position reports directly to the Office of Career Education (OCE) Director. The Project Coordinator plans, develops, and coordinates the office’s daily operations. This position provides program support by coordinating and improving processes and procedures related to the strategic planning for the Office of Career Education. This position frequently deals with varied and complex problems, requiring analysis or interpretation of the situation. Decisions have significant, broad implications for the management and operations of the department.

Salary Range  | $38,722 - $50,339. Salary is commensurate with education, experience and internal equity

 Required Qualifications 
Education  | Bachelor’s degree in business, humanities, or data/research related field.

Experience  | Minimum of one year of experience in project coordination roles. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, database systems, and AI. Experience with career education platforms (e.g., Handshake) or similar CSM tools. 

 Preferred Qualifications 
Education  | Master’s degree in business, humanities, or data/research related field.

Experience  | Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. Experience in higher education or career education. Experience with Handshake Academy training modules and reporting tools.
