Physical Requirements  | Light lifting up to 25 lbs., sitting for long hours working at computer requiring significant concentration.
Shift  | Primarily Monday–Friday, 8am-5pm (40 hours/week); Some evening and weekend hours may be required to support community events; Schedule flexibility is expected.

Job Summary  | The Department of Health and Clinical Sciences is seeking a skilled and motivated Program Manager to lead the coordination and implementation of multiple externally funded research projects focused on health education interventions and community health initiatives. In addition to research responsibilities, this role includes teaching undergraduate courses within the department.

The Program Manager will work closely with the Principal Investigator (PI) and research team to ensure effective project execution, regulatory compliance, data management, and dissemination of findings.

Key Responsibilities Manage project timelines, budgets, deliverables, and IRB submissions Serve as the primary liaison with research administration and external partners Support grant development and reporting activities Oversee data collection, management, and analysis Coordinate community engagement and participant recruitment Contribute to scholarly publications and presentations Mentor undergraduate students involved in research Teach assigned undergraduate courses within the department Lead and facilitate regular team meetings

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities  | Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Trustwell Food Processor Nutrition Analysis Software; At least 3 years of experience teaching, mentoring, and supervising multiple UG/graduate students.

Preferred Education/Experience  | Master’s degree in nutrition or dietetics; Experience with the DASH eating plan; Previous involvement in community-based research and/or outreach.
