Enterprise Technology (ET) seeks to hire a Project Manager IT. Project Managers plan, organize, direct, and supervise the overall management of multiple complex technology-based business projects to ensure thorough articulation of project scope and control of expectations, deliverables, outcomes, issues, needs, and constraints involved to achieve optimal stakeholder satisfaction.

As with all members of the Enterprise Technology team, this role carries core responsibilities, including fostering a sense of belonging and cultivating a culture that is relational, visionary, and empowering. Salary Range: $85,700- $91, 500.00 per year; DOE

Essential Duties:

  • Manages and oversees the operational and tactical aspects of multiple large and medium-scale telecom, WAN/LAN, and wireless infrastructure projects through all project domains of initiation, planning, execution, monitor/control, and close-out.

  • Responsible for deliverables across projects for adherence to budget, time, and resource requirements; identifies out-of-scope and/or other obstacles to successful achievement of objective(s).

  • Implements engagement review and quality assurance procedures in accordance with established methodology to ensure successful execution of engagements as measured by goals and customer satisfaction. Minimize exposure and risk across multiple projects.

  • Responsible for project administration, project status reporting to and achieves goals set for projects. Serves as a key participant in team and functional meetings.

  • Responsible for the coordination of all aspects of planning, production, and implementation of network refresh and replace.

  • Reviews the status reports of team members across projects and addresses issues as appropriate.

  • Confronts issues openly and quickly; utilizes tactful communication of sensitive information.

  • Mentors managers through formal channels; assesses training needs and selects training tools for team members.

  • Manages the overall project schedule ensuring that project tasks are in line with overall program goals, milestones, and objectives.

  • Leverage AI in routine tasks and contribute ideas for using AI to improve the unit's efficiency and overall performance.

  • Take responsibility for fostering a positive culture, upholding organizational values, and championing engagement in all its forms.

  • Collaborate across teams and actively participate in ET/ASU events and programs.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Technology.

  • 1 year experience in project management.

  • PMP Project Management Professional certification.

  • Certificate or Management of Network and Network Devices e.g., CompTIA.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of Waterfall/Hybrid Project and Program Management principles, practices and techniques needed in support of large complex initiatives.

  • Knowledge of higher education and business organization and objectives.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of IT construction.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of telecommunication distribution methods and designs.

  • Ability to be responsible for the planning and installation of network cabling and network equipment, and devices between and within data centers and work buildings.

  • Demonstrated understanding of communication mediums, LAN/WAN, wireless protocols, and or industry-leading technologies.

  • Knowledge of industry standards and best practices.

  • Knowledge of change management principles and practices to identify opportunities for change and the ability to convey the need for change.

  • Skill in effectively communicating relevant project/practice information to superiors and peers in other practices.

  • Skill in evoking creative and innovative thinking from team members while helping them to bring their ideas and career plans to fruition.

  • Skill in easily recognizing areas for internal improvement and develops plans for implementation.

  • Skill in lending expertise to internal teams and task forces. •Ability to comply with and enforce standard policies and procedures.

  • Ability to assess the effective usage of a wide variety of database and development technologies.

  • Ability to handle difficult personnel situations directly, using appropriate discretion, HR advice, and respect for the individual.

Working Environment:
