The Project Manager supports Frontline’s Platform Engineering organization by coordinating platform adoption, rollout, enablement, and cross-functional delivery activities across Identity Platform, Core Services, UI Platform, Data Platform, and AI Enablement teams.
Platform Engineering creates shared capabilities that enable product teams across Frontline to deliver customer-facing outcomes more efficiently, consistently, and securely. The Project Manager plays a critical role in helping platform capabilities move from engineering delivery into successful organizational adoption and operationalization.
This role is responsible for coordinating platform rollout activities, managing dependencies, facilitating communication across stakeholders, improving visibility into delivery and adoption efforts, and helping teams navigate organizational and operational complexity.
The Project Manager works closely with Engineering Managers, Product Managers, Architects, Technical Leads, QA Engineers, Security teams, Operations teams, and adopting product teams throughout the lifecycle of platform initiatives including discovery, planning, rollout, adoption enablement, operational transition, and continuous improvement.
This role reports to the Senior Director, Engineering – Platform.
Operating Model Expectations
Platform Engineering operates within a product-oriented delivery model emphasizing customer outcomes, continuous discovery, shared ownership, and cross-functional collaboration.
The Project Manager is expected to:
- Support successful rollout and adoption of shared platform capabilities across Frontline product teams.
- Facilitate coordination across multiple engineering pods, product teams, and organizational stakeholders.
- Help create clarity, alignment, and transparency across complex cross-functional initiatives.
- Promote continuous improvement across delivery coordination, operational readiness, adoption enablement, and communication practices.
- Balance delivery objectives with organizational readiness, operational sustainability, and stakeholder alignment.
- Act like an owner by proactively identifying risks, dependencies, communication gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
- Foster a collaborative environment grounded in transparency, partnership, accountability, and shared success.
How You'll Drive Success
Platform Rollout & Adoption Coordination
- Coordinate rollout and adoption activities for shared Platform Engineering capabilities.
- Partner with platform and adopting teams to support successful onboarding, integration, operational readiness, and adoption planning.
- Help identify organizational dependencies, adoption risks, operational concerns, and communication needs.
- Coordinate rollout timelines, readiness checkpoints, implementation sequencing, and stakeholder alignment activities.
- Support platform enablement efforts including onboarding coordination, adoption tracking, communication planning, and organizational readiness activities.
- Help facilitate successful transitions from initial delivery into broader organizational adoption.
Cross-Functional Project Coordination
- Coordinate cross-functional platform initiatives spanning multiple engineering pods, product teams, and organizational stakeholders.
- Build and maintain project plans, dependency tracking, risk management activities, status reporting, and delivery coordination workflows.
- Facilitate collaboration across Engineering, Product, Security, Operations, UX, Data, and Customer-facing teams.
- Proactively identify blockers, risks, dependency conflicts, communication gaps, and delivery concerns.
- Support effective prioritization and sequencing discussions across teams.
- Help ensure platform initiatives maintain visibility, alignment, and operational momentum.
Communication & Organizational Alignment
- Facilitate effective communication across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Help translate complex technical initiatives into understandable rollout, delivery, and adoption plans.
- Prepare and communicate status updates, rollout readiness information, adoption metrics, dependency tracking, and project risks.
- Support stakeholder alignment and organizational transparency throughout platform initiatives.
- Help establish repeatable communication and coordination practices supporting Platform Engineering effectiveness.
- Build strong collaborative relationships across engineering and product organizations.
Delivery Process & Continuous Improvement
- Support Platform Engineering delivery practices through coordination, process improvement, and operational planning.
- Help identify opportunities to improve platform adoption workflows, coordination approaches, and delivery effectiveness.
- Contribute to operational readiness planning, release coordination, and organizational enablement activities.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to delivery visibility, organizational alignment, communication effectiveness, and execution consistency.
- Encourage effective collaboration and shared accountability across teams.
AI-Assisted Productivity & Operational Enablement
- Effectively leverage modern AI-assisted productivity tooling and workflow automation technologies to improve coordination, reporting, communication, planning, and operational efficiency.
- Utilize AI-enabled tools to improve visibility into dependencies, delivery risks, adoption activities, and organizational readiness.
- Apply thoughtful and responsible use of AI-assisted workflows while maintaining strong standards for accuracy, governance, operational integrity, and human accountability.
- Encourage continuous improvement and operational efficiency through pragmatic adoption of emerging technologies.
What You Bring to Help Us Grow
Required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Business, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of professional project management or delivery coordination experience supporting technology organizations.
- Experience coordinating complex cross-functional technology initiatives involving multiple stakeholders and engineering teams.
- Strong organizational, planning, dependency management, and communication skills.
- Experience working within Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery models.
- Experience facilitating collaboration between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and operational coordination abilities.
- Experience using project management, reporting, and collaboration platforms.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred
- Experience supporting platform engineering, shared services, or developer enablement organizations.
- Experience coordinating rollout, onboarding, adoption, or organizational enablement activities.
- Familiarity with cloud-native technology organizations and distributed engineering environments.
- Experience supporting SaaS or multi-tenant software platforms.
- Familiarity with AI-enabled productivity tooling or workflow automation platforms.
- Experience working with geographically distributed or offshore teams.
- Familiarity with product-oriented operating models and platform adoption challenges.

Compensation & Benefits
The full base compensation range for this position is $100,000-$115,000.
