Strategic Partnerships Manager Full Description

Strategic Partnerships Manager

About this role
We’re looking to bring on a generalist to help Coteach deepen how we support our existing district partners and grow the reach of who we serve.
As we expand our district partnerships, we need someone who can help make the whole partnerships engine run: cleaner operations, faster support, smoother onboarding, stronger implementation, better communication, and high-quality professional learning for teachers, coaches and admins we serve.

This is a broad, scrappy role for someone who likes getting stuck into whatever most needs doing. One week, you might be coordinating a district launch, cleaning up CRM records, and preparing onboarding materials. The next, you might be facilitating a teacher PL session, following up with district leaders, analyzing adoption data, and building a better internal process so the team can move faster and stronger next time.
You’ll work across business operations, partner success, implementation, and professional learning. The role will evolve as Coteach grows, so leveraging your range and working through the ambiguity is essential. We’re looking for someone organized, warm, execution-oriented, and genuinely motivated to support teachers and administrators unlock the power of their curriculum.

Prior K–12 experience is strongly preferred.

You will
  • Develop and execute new GTM experiments. Help us figure out how to reach more of the right educators and district partners. This might include testing new top-of-funnel channels, supporting social media or content experiments, developing outreach campaigns, or creating a plan for how Coteach should grow in a specific market.
  • Keep the Partnerships engine running. Sweat the operational details that make our district partnerships work: onboarding logistics, account setup, seat assignments, scheduling, CRM hygiene, partner follow-ups, and internal coordination.
  • Support smooth district implementation. Serve as a key point of contact during onboarding and implementation. Coordinate with district leaders, school teams, teachers, PL facilitators, and internal team members to make sure commitments are clear and nothing falls through the cracks.
  • Deliver professional learning and support to teachers, coaches, and administrators. Facilitate onboarding sessions, webinars, office hours, and routine PL sessions for educators. Help teachers understand how to use Coteach in the flow of their actual planning and instruction.
  • Inform our product strategy and roadmap. Translate insights from prospects and partners into product specs and bets to continuously improve how Coteach can serve our users.
  • Build and iterate better systems as we grow. Turn repeated work into clear processes. Maintain templates, SOPs, documentation, communication sequences, and lightweight tools that help the team move faster and more consistently.

What you bring
  • Exceptional organization and follow-through. You are the kind of person who keeps track of the details, follows up before being asked, and takes pride in making systems work.
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills. You can write crisp partner emails, explain next steps clearly, build trust with district contacts, and confidently facilitate sessions for teachers, coaches, and administrators. You are comfortable answering questions live and helping educators connect Coteach to their real classroom, school, and organization needs.
  • Experience in K–12 education. You have worked in or around schools as a teacher, instructional coach, district leader, program manager, facilitator, curriculum lead, or product manager.
  • Range and taste that you can leverage. You do not need a fully written playbook to be effective. You can create structure, make sound judgment calls, and sustain progress with thoughtfulness and your personal style as we shape the process and team together.

Preferred, not required
We’d be especially excited to hear from candidates who have experience with one or more of the following:
  • Delivering professional learning to teachers, coaches, school, organization leaders
  • Supporting district partnerships, customer success, implementation, or education program operations
  • Working in an early-stage startup, nonprofit, or small team where responsibilities evolved as the team and needs grow
  • High-quality instructional materials, math or literacy curriculum, assessment, instructional coaching, or school improvement work
  • Using AI tools to improve your own productivity and workflows

Compensation & structure
Compensation is $7,000–$12,000/month, depending on experience. We expect most roles at this stage to be contract-based due to our current funding model. In select cases, we may be able to consider a full-time structure for the right candidate.
We have a preference for this role to be hybrid in New York City, with in-person responsibilities for supporting our Partners throughout the US. That said, we’re also open to fully remote candidates for the right person.
This role may require travel up to 20-25% of the time for in person support of our partners, conferences, PL sessions, and team gatherings.
We encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet every qualification. Great candidates come from many backgrounds, and research shows underrepresented applicants often underestimate their readiness. If you’re excited about this work, we want to hear from you.
