Job Summary
The Project Manager will identify new accounts, contact clients, assess training needs, conduct presentations, track activity, and close sales to meet annual revenue targets. In addition, the Project Manager will oversee Continuing Education programming and other open enrollment programs, maintain existing accounts, provide follow up activities, conduct forecasting procedures, generate periodic reports, and represent BCTC and the Workforce Solutions department at community and corporate events. The Project Manager reports to the Associate Dean of Workforce Solutions.
 
Job Duties: Identify prospects, sell training and services to business and industry, network with various industries such as state licensure entities, contractors and businesses to ensure training and related services are delivered to customer satisfaction.

Responsible for revenue generation for financially supporting the operations of the department.

Oversee Continuing Education Programming and other open enrollment programs.

Performs administrative tasks and any vendor-related agreement management necessary to support continuing education and open enrollment programs.

Prospect for new client acquisition through networking, events, referrals, social media, and cold calls.

Coordinate marketing activities to support business growth opportunities and development.

Evaluate and develop business processes that align with established department goals.

Conduct discovery meetings with businesses and industries to determine training needs and develop training plans, such as Rapid Response and other community partner meetings.

Develop project proposals based on determined needs and submit them to clients.

Recruit subject matter experts as instructors for training projects and work collaboratively with Academics to meet training needs of business partners.

Close sales related to training and write KCTCS TRAINS projects, if applicable.

Supervise the design, development, and delivery of training programs to organizations.

Conduct assessments with clients after training completion to ensure satisfaction.

Update sales pipelines each month and track prospects, contracts sold and completed projects.

Plan and implement open enrollment courses and pre-employment events related to needs of employers and workforce demands.

Promote online job posting platform (Handshake) and encourage the development of work-based learning opportunities for students with employers.

Participate in internal external service efforts through committees and work on other college projects when needed.

Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in a related field and four (4) years of relevant experience or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in a related field and six (6) years of relevant experience or equivalent.
