About the Role
As a Publishing Administrative Editor, you will play a crucial role in coordinating peer review, ensuring smooth editorial workflows, and maintaining quality and ethical standards in collaboration with Editors, reviewers, authors and internal cross-functional teams, as part of a busy journal team ensuring the successful and timely publication of leading scientific journals.
Responsibilities
  • Deliver editorial administration services to editors, authors and reviewers to ensure journal needs and service level agreements are met.
  • Manage the editorial, submission and review process efficiently to reduce lead-time from submission to decision.
  • Generate journal and ad-hoc reports for editors and publishers for board meetings and strategic planning.
  • Identify and implement changes to workflow and configuration to optimize journal performance.
  • Provide support and troubleshooting advice to editors, reviewers, authors and teams for the submission system.
Requirements
  • Excellent administration skills and a real eye for detail and accuracy.
