The Director, Military Educational Partnerships will provide support to Purdue University Global.

Job Summary:
Purdue Global is seeking a Director, Military Educational Partnerships to lead and grow our
relationships within the military sector. This role is crucial for expanding our reach and impact,
ensuring that more service members, veterans, and their families have access to high-quality,
career-focused online education.

What You'll Do:
Expand and Nurture Partnerships: You will be responsible for serving and expanding Purdue
Global's military partnerships, actively identifying and cultivating new relationships with military
and government organizations. Your goal will be to address specific workforce upskilling and
career readiness needs.

Elevate Our Brand: You will act as a key representative, positioning Purdue Global as a
premier online provider of credentials that directly advance career readiness for the military
community.

Strengthen Internal and External Relationships: You will maintain and build strong,
collaborative relationships with key stakeholders across the Purdue Global and Purdue system,
as well as with external military and government entities.

understanding of the military community and the unique educational needs of its members. You
are passionate about helping service members and their families achieve their educational and
career goals. You have a proven track record of building and managing complex partnerships
and are skilled at identifying opportunities for growth and impact.

What to expect in this role:
Sales and Business Development:
● Sell existing Purdue Global product/portfolio to new military and governmental partners,
expand sales with current partnerships, including those developed by third parties.
● Develop knowledge base of products to support the sales process and understand the
military education market for each program and find new partnerships within each
market.
● Identify new products in response to customer workforce and military upskilling needs,
identify business objectives, the program details, and define the sales strategy for the
new product.
● Manage the military partnership agreements, structure deal terms, negotiate, implement,
and run deals with existing and new partners.
● Remain current in educational industry trends including technology trends, competitive
intelligence and key influencers.

Strategic Partnerships and Collaboration:
● Build out a proposal pipeline of military partnership opportunities that lead to growth in enrollment and revenue for Purdue Global.
● Develop relationships with Purdue colleagues to enable collaboration on qualifying
opportunities that grow and complement college offerings.
● Regularly engage with customers and key business stakeholders and utilize
relationships to identify, synthesize, and clearly communicate strategies that enable new
revenue-generating opportunities for Purdue.
● Architect fast track initiatives, in partnerships with internal teams that have a direct
impact on growing enrollments and revenue.
● Visualize needed marketing collateral and work with marketing departments to create it.

Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree required. Master’s Degree/MBA preferred.
10 years related experience in the military and an ability to understand, identify, and articulate
the educational needs of each branch of the military.
Experience working in sales and higher education preferred.
Familiarity with DoD and VA regulations and requirements as it relates to compliance

● Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office suite software, such as MS Word, Excel and
   Powerpoint, as well as Google applications such as Gmail, Chat and Meet.

Additional Information:
● Target salary is $90,000.
