Required Qualifications: Applicants must specifically address how they meet these required qualifications to meet the requirements of the position.
  • 2+ years of experience in facilities maintenance, custodial, or grounds services.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform detail-oriented work with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to work across diverse stakeholders.
  • Intermediate or higher proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Experience building reports, data entry, and using digital tools to document work.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience performing quality assurance or quality control activities.
  • Experience supporting continuous process improvement initiatives.
  • Experience working in a higher education environment and collaborating across multiple departments or service areas.
  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, including SAP.

Job Description
The Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist will coordinate the activities of a program, project, team, and/or area within a department.
Job Duties
  • Conduct inspections and quality assurance reviews of facilities, and custodial.
  • Document findings and track corrective actions using ERP, IWMS, or CMMS software.
  • Provide feedback to service providers and escalate unresolved service deficiencies when needed.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service by exercising sound judgment in responding to requests and observations, ensuring timely follow-up with responsible parties.
  • Collect, enter, and analyze service data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Prepare recurring reports and dashboards, presenting recommendations to leadership.
  • Support continuous process improvement initiatives and compliance with internal standards.
  • Collaborate across multiple departments to align service delivery with organizational needs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
