This role involves reviewing and verifying student records, processing various student record requests, providing assistance and information to students and visitors, and resolving both routine and complex customer issues related to academic records.
Highlights
Review student records for accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
Process requests such as transcripts, enrollment verifications, degree verifications, residency reclassification, and changes of major.
Maintain and audit records within the student information system.
Provide in-person and remote support to current, former, and prospective students.
Prepare weekly reports and manage correspondence.
Assist with academic scheduling, registration, faculty support, and commencement ceremonies.
Requires use of standard office equipment and adherence to customer service standards and confidentiality regulations regarding student records.
Minimum education requirement: high school diploma or equivalent; preferred: associate’s degree or 60 college hours.
Experience required: four years of related clerical work or two years plus an associate’s degree or equivalent coursework.
Supervision received from Assistant University Registrar; may supervise support staff.
