The recruiter will be responsible for traveling throughout the seven- county service area to high schools, community groups, and other organizations to recruit students to our campuses.

Requires a bachelor’s degree in a job related field and 1 or more years of job related experience, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of job related certification, training, education, and/or experience.

Knowledge of student services programs & activities. Ability to establish and
maintain effective working relationships with faculty, administrators, staff,
students, parents, and community patrons. The ability to work in a face paced environment and work independently. Ability to communicate and demonstrate intimate knowledge of the University and admissions policies. The ability effectively assist prospective students through the enrollment process.

Travel to and participate in various recruitment events throughout the
Salkehatchie region (Allendale, Bamberg, Barnwell, Colleton, and Hampton
counties) and other assigned service areas including Charleston, Berkeley,
and Dorchester counties to recruit students. Participate in on-campus
recruiting events including open house, Saturday visits, orientation, and
other special events. Initiate and schedule virtual recruiting events.
