The Regional Account Manager executes the business strategies while developing client relationships that create value for our national clients while hitting assigned targets. The position is responsible for establishing and maintaining senior-level relationships with key mid-tier regional branches and for identifying opportunities that align solutions with the client’s business needs. This individual is accountable for understanding the market and client profile to differentiate Kaplans product offerings from competitors.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Achieve revenue and profit goals for assigned book of business.
- Assists in the development of the account growth plan and executes the plan across the established client base.
- Be the external “face” of Kaplan for assigned accounts in the regional, branch, or district offices.
- Provides market and client feedback to sales and product teams to help steer future growth and assist the business in meeting client expectations.
- Work cross functionally with our implementations and product development teams to leverage our entire Kaplan portfolio.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associates Degree or greater in business or related field
- At least 1 year of sales or service experience
- Presentation and negotiation skills, self-starter and motivated to succeed, strategic thinking ability, problem solving skills, passion for prospecting and account development, can create “wow” experiences for clients
- Ability to adapt quickly to changes, workload, and processes.
- Exhibits grit and tenacity.

For full-time positions, Kaplan has two Salary Grades, this position is Salary Grade A: $31,200 to $78,600. Actual compensation for this role is determined by several factors including but not limited to job level, candidate's skills, experience, and education, among other factors determined by the business.
