Regional Managing Partner Full Description

Education Elements is a forward-thinking consulting firm at the heart of K–12 education transformation. Within our Curriculum Services team, we collaborate with publishers, curriculum developers, open educational resource (OER) providers, school districts, and state education agencies. From custom curriculum design to full-service print and fulfillment, we bring ideas to life and deliver impact at scale.
 
To support this work, our Sales team builds strong relationships with partners and clients, ensuring they are matched with the right solutions to meet their goals. Once solutions are in place, our Professional Education Services (PES) team provides expert implementation and ongoing support, helping districts adopt and sustain high-quality educational resources that truly make a difference in teaching and learning.
 
Position Title: Regional Managing Partner
Reports To: Chief Revenue Officer

 About the Role
Join us as a Regional Managing Partner in Sales, a role crafted for proven sales leaders who are driven self-starters with a heart for impactful change, a proven track record in sales, and a rich background in K12 leadership. This is a player/coach role; while you will have a personal production requirement most of your time will be focused on coaching and leading your regional team of Partners to meet and exceed your team’s annual sales targets. In this role, you will be pivotal in leading a regional team of partners whose focus is on discovering and engaging new clients for the continued growth of our professional educational services suite of offerings. Your responsibilities include:

Responsibilities: 
  • Coaching: You will be responsible for coaching your team on sales techniques modeling successful relationship sales techniques both virtually and in the field. 
  • Annual territory sales plan: You will be responsible for developing an annual territory sales plan, its implementation and any adjustments that may be needed based on market conditions. 
  • Pipeline development and maintenance: You will be responsible for developing a territory pipeline that is at least 3.5X your territory quota. You will meet weekly with your team and sales opportunities to ensure accuracy of your pipeline. 
  • Forecasting: You will provide an accurate weekly forecast of projected sales for your territory. 
  • Quota responsibility: Your territory will be assigned an annual sales goal which you will lead your team to achieve or exceed. 
  • Relationships: you will build long-lasting relationships with our clients and the various educational associations within your assigned region.  

Required Skills:  
  • A passion for making school a place where students love to learn and our company a place where people love to work. 
  • A proven track record in sales leadership, showcasing effective pipeline development, a robust network, and successful quota achievement. 
  • At least 7 years of experience in the K12 education sector, ideally including district leadership roles. 
  • A strong background in educational sales and sales leadership. 
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills, both internally and externally with clients. 
  • Strong virtual and in-person presentation skills, and proficiency in using Google and Microsoft office suites to communicate business strategies internally and externally. 
  • A detail-oriented approach, combined with excellent project management and strategic planning/implementation skills. 
  • Willingness to travel at least 50% of the time. 

Preferred Education / Experience
  • At least a bachelor's degree in business, marketing or another related field.  
  • Master’s degree preferred.   
  • A minimum of 7 years in educational sales, ideally selling consulting services.  
  • Experience as a regional sales manager is preferred. 
  • Experience as a school district administrator is preferred but not necessary. 
  • Proven track record of sales success. 

Compensation 
base salary range is $140-150k annually with a generous variable sales compensation plan.
